Artist duo Al Freshco represents Beverwijk at the double exhibition of the project Faces of North Holland on display at the Amsterdam Museum and Frans Hals Museum.

Faces of North Holland is a project of the Frans Hals Museum and the Amsterdam Museum in which historical portraits from collections are linked to new (group) portraits to be made in various art expressions.

Duo Al Freshco (Matthijs Stam & Ingwar Perton) will paint a large contemporary archer’s piece with portraits of young people from Beverwijk.

The Beverwijk Centre for the Arts is one of the six selected co-creation partners in this project.
